DESCRIPTION:No matter your mode of transport\, prepare yourself for holiday travel in these two December tech workshops at WSC. Each session will include a workshop centered on that week’s topic and open time to discuss\, ask questions\, or help finalize your trip planning. Topics of further discussion can include\, but are certainly not limited to: accessing e-tickets\, using plane or train company apps\, booking hotel rooms\, finding fun things to do in a new place\, and more. \n12/12 Tue 1-230pm – Hail a Ride! (Lyft\, Uber\, etc)\nTips and tricks for using a ride-hailing service like Lyft or Uber. Book a ride on demand\, plan a ride ahead of time\, get rates without committing to booking a ride\, and more. \n12/19 Tue 1-230pm – Google Maps\nPlan your route using Google Maps and explore the various features and functions to customize your journey – add a stop along the way\, save important destinations to re-use later\, download a map to use without cell service\, and more.
